Will Halcomb
MyFristPaintingShow, 2017
MyFirstPaintingShow is a false gallery displaying false paintings. After taking a few courses in painting during college, Will began to enjoy the physical elements of his oil paintings and the aesthetic elements of his digital abstractions. In order to combine these aspects, he began creating 3D digital paintings. “I think it’s very interesting to explore the ability to alter our information through digital creation tools that can help challenge and reinforce our critical perspectives in today’s media landscape.”
August 3rd – 22nd, 2017
